This week was pretty busy for me. I have been working on my obstacle course, which required painting of all of the parts and attaching them. The obstacle course was slightly top heavy because the glue I used was not as good as I should have used. I am learning from this that I should probably test the glue I am using on the material before I glue the whole thing, so I have to fix two sides of it before it is completely done. I found the glue that was best to use and finished two of the sides, so that is why I still need to finish the other two. I spoke to my consultant about a small problem that I was having with a time issue because someone else’s project is really similar to my time, so that may cause the issue of people not being able to come to one of our events. Since I have the gym for my event, I am not able to move my date or my time, especially since the last day for changing is today and my date is good for me and my consultant, and I sent out many flyers and have a school coming, so my consultant and I discussed this and any other issues I may be having, which isn’t a lot. I feel pretty confident about my project, so I’m just working to get everything done and make sure my project comes out great.
This week I also got my flyer signed so I can make prints of those at FedEx this weekend and get copies printed to post around the school and discuss in classes that I know people will be interested in coming.
To finish everything that I need for my project in nineteen days: I need to work on the tri-folds- attach everything to it and have the set-up-; I need to make a floor plan of where everything will go in the gym, so on the set-up day I am completely prepared with what needs to be done; I need to print the flyers that I got signed this week and get ready to hang them up and talk in my classes soon; I need to write my speech for what I am going to say at my event and I need to create a Facebook page as a reminder for my project and to reach out to those I don’t see in school or didn’t email a flyer to.
