This week has been a little uneventful in terms of getting a lot moving. I met with my consultant and we discussed my event and how many people have R.S.V.P.’d, which is exciting because it makes me less worried about people attending my event, but I wasn’t really worried about that anyways. I’ve almost finished the obstacle course, as I decided I did not like it last week and I scrapped it for a new design. I like this better, so I feel it will work better in terms of what I want for the obstacle.
A setback I had this week is I finished and printed a flyer that I needed to be signed, but Mrs. Godfrey was not here this week, so I was unable to get it signed, so I will have to save printing and putting up posters for next week, which sets me back a week, which is unfortunate, but I will be okay since my event isn’t until March 23, which is a month away. I still would have liked to have my posters printed earlier. Other than this, I haven’t really had anything set me back any. Things have been moving pretty smoothly.
I was able to secure a photographer, which is really helpful because I no longer have to worry about that and it is an LSA student, so I appreciate the help.
Things that I need to do to get my project moving forward more are to: finish the obstacle course, which I have to finish the last half of and then put small objects inside that can move around; test the obstacle course to ensure that it will work the way I want it to; print out a flyer and get the signed by Mrs. Godfrey; print multiple flyers and post them around school and my father’s work (he has permission to post flyers and he works at a military college, so this might help get more people to attend); print papers to use to create tri-folds and complete them and; create total plan for where everything will be during the event in the gym, so I know where everything goes during set-up and those who are helping me won’t be confused. I created this to-do list on Wednesday, so I will know what exactly I need to get done before March 23 because without to-do lists I tend to procrastinate, but I know exactly what I need to get done.
